Change your mind, and change your life (Romans 12:1,2).
It's what you habitually confess and believe that you will see come to pass in your life. We've all heard of "Murphy's Law". I in fact, once read a whole book of amusing but depressing variations, amendments and addenda to same, but the reality available to Sons Of God to walk in is quite different! Tonight I couldn't help wondering what would happen if "Murphy" got born again, did some Biblical research, extracted his cranium from his rectum and then wrote his famous legal thesis!? Get your Bibles (or open your Online one) and get ready for a spiritual adventure! This is a small taste of how our thinking processes are to operate, and can, as we make God's Word our only rule of faith and practice.
Here's how to look at it from the Word:
Whatever can go right...will!
Nothing is as hard as it looks!
Jelly toast always falls jelly side up!
The grass is really green on both sides of the fence!
Things will go right at the best possible time, right when you need them to!
The tool required to complete your repairs is right where you look for it!
1 Corinthians 14:33
When properly attended to, things will go from good to best!
In a possibility of two decisions, it will be clear which one's the best to make!
Fixing something takes less time and costs less than you thought!
It won't rain until after your ball game or picnic!
That job you always wanted is yours!
3 John 2
A parking space will be right where and when you need it!
You will always have more than enough to pay the bills!
You will find the register with one customer and walk up just as it clears!
Eating your favorite food won't cause you to go broke!
2 Corinthians 9:8
God has done all He can in Christ, it's up to you and me to claim the promises He's made and - like Joshua in the Promised Land - get what's already ours. We don't burden ourselves down by stockpiling needs; we go to the Word, find the promise that meets our concern or interest, then set about believing to acquire what God has already made available (Ephesians 1:1-11).
