Another prime example.
It is, in fact, what happens when brain-dead, dope-smoking college monkeys are fanatically committed to the Earth-bitch-worship religion. Never mind the fact instruments on the coast clocked the sustained winds at an average of 35MPH, nor that it never approached the severity of Katrina in the whole of it's existence...The deceit must go on! NOAA's assertion that the hurricane's landfall winds were 80MPH is another viro-lie. Ayn Rand accurately characterized the goals of environmentalists as "nature undisturbed", but there seems to be a separation from reality in their definition of nature as something outside and apart from humanity: The grass-roots environmentally-ill do not see mankind as part of nature, nor believe it to be in dominion over it, and also believe the planet is alive. The leaders of the cult palm off their faith as "science", and seek an inverted society where our needs are subject to "sustainability"/what is deemed by them to be "best for the planet"
Fact is, environmentalism is about money and power - mostly the latter, since our unconstitutional money is a worthless legal fiction - and these New Age spiritualists could care less about ecology.
