No Great Loss

Pardon me for not mourning...
if anything, Galt-in-Da-Box has had to fight off the temptation to rejoice. Fred Phelps and his vile little cult epitomized the "ugly American" - the stereotypical worst of our culture in general and of (pseudo)Christianity in particular. My greatest lament is having not been able to avoid meeting many of such in my lifetime, but "Reverend" Phelps took the Elmer Gantry routine to a whole, new, and lower level, and was of them the undisputed king. Somewhere along the line he forgot he was not God, immortal or untouchable, and the Law of Causality finally rendered its verdict. As for the demise of the WBC, don't get your hopes up: Nature abhors a vacuum and the "Southern Deadfish" have an uncanny knack for producing those happy to fill this diseased vacancy.
If you felt a strange sensation in the pit of your stomach earlier today, that was the collective IQ of humanity taking a massive leap when Preacher Freyed checked out.

No great loss is right!

Even worse than he are the people that followed him, that's where his power came from.

Like Hitler, if everyone would have just had the attitude, oh yeah, that stupid, ugly racist s.o.b. don't listen to him.

There seems to be something in people that make them follow and support real idiots. The second term of certain elected officials, seems to prove that.

Well, I came over here expecting to either agree or disagree!

It's really hard to find the time to blog much anymore huh?

It's happening to me big time.

Take your time buddy, I'm a patient person...Okay I'm not patient at all, please hurry up and post something.

If you don't find anything new, scroll down a bit and check out some of the un-commented-on stuff that may have escaped your attention, or just slipped by in one of my posting avalanches.
