Perhaps you never saw the YouTube video where the ragheads drove a truck over a little boy's hand for stealing a loaf of bread, but that was more than enough to convince me these aren't the kind of folks you're ever going to get too palsy or chummy with...if you're sane, you'll avoid them like the plague! Smart people avoid dangerous situations. It's been my experience that only the old-money filthy-rich and the abject poor are delusional/suicidal enough to actually go about courting disaster; the former due to the vain conceits of altruism and the latter for drugs and companionship.
Economic status is no guaranteed indicator of intelligence, but if you work for your money you tend to value it more - to say nothing of your life!

Remote possibilities mentioned earlier aren't seeming quite so remote now. They are, in fact, roaming the malls, standing in exchange lines at Sears and going through my local grocery store checkouts. Atleast a dozen instances in the last week. Lovely Iraqi ladies in festive, ornamental headgear are not what Galt-in-Da-Box is talking about. I mean the hate-filled stares of young Muslim men between the ages of 17 & 30 and allegedly, hopefully women - sans C4 explosive plastique garters and bras - in full length black pajamas with barely an eye slit. These are not encouraging signs peeps, but they are becoming more numerous, as everyone continues to float around in BLANK-OUT-land! No word I've said of socialism will I unsay, but if a military lockdown comes to America, it may not come without provocation: If we have a dozen suspicious-looking motherfuckers in a week in my Podunk two-horse home town, how freaking many are people walking by for PC/multiCULTi brain-filthied lack-of-reasons in Los Angeles, or New York, or Washington DC?
And I wouldn't put it past the "enLIEtened" ignoramuses in immigration bureaucracy to be waving Habib and Jamaal through, either!

First of all, the "anti-industrial revolution" part of American history is winding down, and since fanatical insurgents exist within our own borders now, with reinforcements coming across our sieve of a southern border, it's quite likely the "western contraction" is about to begin. One can only hope this too-often dismissed probability has finally shown up on the radar of national security, and is being treated as the threat it is. Due to the sudden and recent dearth of web info on same, safe to figure we are not far off the mark. With hope that BPP, AmeriNazis & other such made it into the equation also. Most of the successful counterterrorism has been spawned by concerned citizens seeing something and saying something. Perhaps this administration - unlike the one that preceeded it - listened to warnings from FBI, NSA, CIA &c and is taking action, without concerns of multicultural/political correctness nature.
Holiday hiatus is here, so posting will be light-moderate.

While the remote possibility exists there actually is some huge attack coming of which the government has been warned, and they are trying to ready for it, history says otherwise - from Nazi Germany to Cambodian pogroms to Soviet gulags.
It's not too late to call or write your Representatives, or shoot an email SCOTUS-ward. We can still make a difference as Americans and head off this gross injustice and violation of the Bill of Rights, but it has to be NOW. We can't continue to expect someone else will do it or trot out the "it'll never happen here" cop-out...IT IS HAPPENING, and it MUST be stopped while we still have a system of checks and balances left to utilize.
Liberty demands it of US.

There's a friend at work I very much admire. He is diligent, polite, refined in his fashion. He cares about his family like no man I've ever seen. For namesake and yet to protect anonymity we'll give him the nickname "Shorty". He works his ass off and is generous to a fault.
Shorty is four years from retirement, and until six months ago, worked two jobs - one of them full time. He is very fit and athletic, despite the early 60s. He has a lovely wife and three kids, and would literally give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it, let alone needed it. Shorty is also black.
There is literally no issue you can bring up, no conversation you can start and no topic you can address with him he will not turn around and end up blaming the fault or issue on "racism". Much of this has to do with being a boomer, but beside that, Shorty is not an isolated incident. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of black men and women I have ever met without this attitude. Irrespective of having a better lifestyle than mine - complete with retirement pension from a job I could never get - he still thinks I'm "a rich wealthy Republican" because I am white. Thanks to what I have experienced and read of government indoctrination and the subCULTure of ingrained resentment, there's little hope this will change.
Why? Because there's built in leverage: You don't get what you want, you can always play the card. As socialist and collectivist as the media is, you'll always get an audience, too. Further, accusation = guilt in the politics of personal destruction. Look at what's happening with Herman Cain? Compared to John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton, Herman Cain is a freaking virgin, but the Establishment propaganda machine trumps up a new feminStaazi every day. It takes the heat off of Captain Underpants and Loose Cannon Perry so the Establishment Right can slip one or the other into nomination. How much of all this "Caining" is real v. manufactured for public consumption is anyone's guess, but Galt-in-Da-Box can pretty much see what's playing out:

Once there was a United States that was the aspiration of the world, because anyone could come here and, by using their brains and brawn, achieve success. Now, of course, this has been sacrificed to the rabble, as the various contemporary versions of Kantian altruism have reduced US to a caste system - a TRIPE-artite society.
The upper caste can be called the globalistic elite: These are what Galt-in-Da-Box likes to refer to as "the three Fs" - Fags, FeminStaazi & Fascists. They are born wealthy and die wealthier because that's the family tradition and screw-ool of thought. Everything said and done by this caste gives the impression they are at odds with one another when they are, in fact, quite chummy and amuse themselves by agitating the lower castes and stirring up conflicts where none exist, off which they profit. The modern scribes and Pharisees, this lot have an orthodoxy, philosophy, psalm and doctrine for every occasion to motivate the plebescheite below, with which they themselves never inconvenience themselves by adherence.
The middle caste are the Functionaries: Apparent authority. A facade of political structure that extracts resources from the lower caste, transfers most of it to the upper caste and borrows heavily on the remains in order to carry out its bribery &/ blodgeonings. People who don't and won't work, but are not "persons of leisure" among the elite can also be considered part of this caste, as they are useful tools and idiots to the expansion of governmental power. They are the enforcers of the prescribed orthodoxy; that's to say the folks upstairs "should" all over themselves, and these folks spread the "should" around!
Finally, there's our caste: The people who actually do the work! Ants, drones, worker bees, etc. Some own & run businesses, some work for corporations maintained by the elites for a particular purpose. It used to be commonplace for people to transit from here to the elite, but that was back when these were actual classes, not institutionalized castes. Today, once in a great while, one/some of the elites will take a temporary shine to one of the drones and allow them "15 minutes of fame/Jus Prima Noctae" whereupon they become a flash-in-the-pan idol or a "carrot" to motivate the "right" or "left" wing of the drones (think Clay Aiken, Justin Bieber or Dave Thomas) and more rarely, one circumnavigates the vast array of obstacles deliberately thrown in their paths to where the elites will allow them to winter among their ranks (Steve Jobs), but there is usually a high price to pay for such allowances.
The most amazing part of this illusion is how fancifully the fabricated "right" drones cling to the FOOLosophy of fascism as Conservative, how dearly the deluded "left" cherishes their fantasy of "Progressive" socialism, and how these socially engineered camps among the working vigorously ignore the leaders of their factions are not only the same, but good friends, and completely in on the charade! From time to time, elites will even place obvious clues and evidence of The TRIPE-artite Society in plain sight - which each of the factions will take and spin against the other, or completely and hotly deny.
As with religion, vanity and egotism demand this lack of action from the factions, because the only alternative is to realize they've wasted their lives, fortunes, honor and liberty on unconstitutional and unrealistic bullshit!

The strategy of tyrants has varied little from this model: Keep the plebes confused, ignorant and in constant, varying degrees of fear, and you can keep them controlled. In place of the gracious and loving God and Father of Jesus Christ, "The Church" taught the masses they were too ignorant to understand the Word of God for themselves and must blindly trust the religious bureaucracy to tell them what to do in order to have "a hope of Heaven". This bureaucracy - not unlike religion today - taught God is fickle, you are evil and must pray - and above all PAY - to have your time in "Purgatory" reduced through a wide, ever varying array of "acts of contrition" and seasonal sales of indulgences (a modern equivalent is the constant appeals for money for various designer causes and ethical fads: It seems the more things change, the more they stay the same)!
Luther used the dogma of indulgences to reintroduce the people to the original, Biblical truths of salvation by grace and sanctification by believing God's Word (2 Thessalonians 2:13 & 14). He never meant to start another denomination, but because "the church" had gotten so in bed with the world through political power and corruption, there was no way to get God's Word to the people without separating, marking and avoiding (Romans 16:17 & 18, 2 Corinthians 6:14-16). There persists on the Earth what I like to call The Inaccurate Misconception, the premise that religion exists to help people know God, believe Him and live a more abundant life. A cursory overview of The Word reveals this premise to be as sound as our American fallacy of feeling that our government exists to provide everyone in the world a comfortable existence: Jesus Christ was not patting the religious leaders of Israel on the back in Matthew 24. Stephen's teaching in Acts 7 was as far removed from congratulatory of Judean responses to The Word throughout the nation's history. One may read through the prophets of the old testament and find a plethora of confrontations and reproof of the charlatans and false prophets that led God's ACTUAL chosen people to enslavement and destitution time and time again. Contemporary "Protestantism" is a similar cruel, inflated and bitter joke...So what are we to do if we want to - as individuals - be the best we can be?
Martin Luther asserted that "A simple layman armed with Scripture was greater than the mightiest Pope without it", so there and there alone can we find answers - especially in the Church Epistles: These are written directly to and for us. Just because the world around us rejoices in weakness, foolishness and (many times, willful) ignorance of God and His Word doesn't mean we can't experience our own personal "reformation"; a betterment of our selves and our lives by our own choice.

That's the most recent Stephen King novel I have read, and it's ripping good shit!
If you have never read any of King's books, the best he ever wrote IMAAMFO is Hearts In Atlantis, with Cell running a fairly close second. Entwining and amalgamating the best of Dean R. Koontz & Richard Matheson, many of King's books have been made into movies, and though you may have heard of his Dark Tower series, don't rush out and waste phat jack on all the books when Galt-in-Da-Box has already done the legwork for you: Get The Talisman & Black House, which tell you all you need to know, and you're good. If you don't like library copy & hardbacks, I hear-tell Amazon's Kindle is excellent, and they probably have an app for your smartphone by now.
He's supposed to be rolling out some new projects sometime soon, but I personally hope old Ted Brautigan becomes the centerpiece of his final Dark Tower novel, where the Six Beams are restored and the Crimson King is locked away forever.

Personally, Galt-in-Da-Box took himself off the block years ago and advises all and sundry to not marry, especially if you've already been divorced, but that's my life. Moving on to yours, here's a few ways to realize you're in trouble and the best I can give in how to get out of it:
It will not take long after marriage for the signs that you've been roped into pussy-whipism, debt-slavery, naggism &/ "public shame theatre" to manifest themselves. All the above or worse will float to the surface of the average toilet-water American vow-coupling in the first six months to two years. This is why you NEVER have sex before marriage without wearing a condom and don't even think about having kids until well beyond those first two years. You are waiting to find out if she's still the girl you courted, and making sure any changes are for the better, and directed by you. If not, you'll know:
*A lot of "now that we're married..." proceeding some denouncement of something you both enjoyed on dates, or advocacy of some extreme indebtedness generating/socialist political idea.
*"You know, I never really liked that." becomes her new mantra for things she PRETENDED to like when you were dating. HUGE red flag!
*Mother and friends always visiting. Three or more times a week indicates immaturity and little sense of herself as part of a new family. Sometimes this can be corrected by doing the things together that gave you a sense of romance before your wedding. If she has already denounced these things and can't be without her entourage, it's much worse.
*Your "strong, independent woman" quits her job and takes up a new, full-time career on the couch in front of the TV, filling her face and watching Ellen, Rosie &/ some other "Orca Windbreeze" emo airbagette.
*Bawling/bitching. Rears it's head if you question or add something to her suggestions. Bitching will be accompanied by nagging if you don't give in to her slightest request. These will become demands in time.
*The next step down will be berating your choices or actions, no matter how small, before her mother, friends &/ in public.
These are the beginnings of manipulation and control. Today, most of the arrogant, college-brainfilthied, twenty-something set do not even wait for nuptules to start softening up the beachheads or seeing what they can coerce from you. Let's assume you went in without a Prenup...Situation difficult, but not impossible: you may come out of this completely unscathed if you can get her to agree to an uncontested divorce. If not, and you can make arrangements to live and work elsewhere in advance, if you are renting the home you both occupy and were wise enough to keep everything in your name, there's no reason why you can't just call for the utilities to be shut off, "slip out the back, Jack" and get a fresh start.
Now for the bad news: If you've already had kids with her (more common, less tenable) there is no easy way out of it, and you're likely to end up paying dearly for any type of divorce, especially if you live/were married in "ass-rape the WASP/stick it to Da Man" states like New York, California, Michigan and Florida. Unless you have an excellent lawyer and an airtight case, your kids are going to suffer the most, no matter what. Your only option is to attempt to "make it work" as best you can til the kids are raised and on their own, and see if there is a mutually beneficial arrangement you can reach until then. This will require knowing her habits, being a step ahead, playing it cool and developing a VERY thick skin (IOW, it's a hell of a lot easier said than done, especially if she's already contemplating divorce - which is how it ends three out of four).

It wouldn't be long before the whole world knew the secrets that grew there now. Above the tank, as the trunks suffused into a single knot from which countless limbs reached in every direction, branches reached higher, fitted evenly at intervals into the actual replication chamber. On that level, lab-coated attendants rushed to and fro, monitoring the uniform development of thousands of specimens, gradually and noticeably taking form in as many plexiglas chambers. It was nearly "harvest time".
An early model of the line monitors from station at one corner of the room. They form and march through an opening overhead door from the light to the darkness. As the dark room fills up, an entire wall on one of it's longest sides lights up: A large digital TV screen with a test pattern on it. Once they are all inside, The First closes the overhead door and the crop turns toward the light of the screen. In the darkness, their eyes have all turned a dark red, almost ultraviolet. Text and images begin to undulate across the screen, slowly at first, but then faster and faster as a low pitched, erratically warbling hum flows from speakers, matching the video acceleration into a high-pitched, deafening wail. Composite in the minds of the soldiers, along with combatives and other information, is the nature and disposition of their assignment. The First sees nothing new. It learned before this crop was harvested about the missile silos in Colorado and the strange things believed to have departed there.

It started when the lights went out in New York City.
Some witnesses said they saw a solitary airplane escape when it happened. Others said it was only the beginning, because the entire east coast was dark within 24 hours, but it wasn't sabotage, or terrorism. The crazy lack-of-power sceme (or was that scam) to save the planet from the "ravages" of fossil fuel, coupled with grids poorly maintained by union labor bureaucrats had finally run it's course. The black-out rolled across the country like a bulldozer. Some resorted to generators and flashlights, but when fuel and batteries were expended, night fell yet again - an enduring darkness; a reality that paralleled the nation's fanatical devotion to believing lies instead of truth. Some localities locked themselves down under martial law. Others implemented strict rationing of all remaining fuel and food resources. In a month, it was to no avail, because when the lights and fuel reserves went, so also went the phones, mail, the delivery trucks and the computers.
And the welfare state.
Deprived of their "entitlements", tens of thousands of able-bodied moochers in the major metropolitan areas organized, armed themselves and became roaming hoardes of looters, working themselves up from the elderly and disabled, to the shops and malls, and eventually out into the suburbs and open countryside, where the gated communities awaited like the proverbial fatted calf. Authorities - the last vestiges of a once great civilization, weakened by limited supplies and numbers, quickly fell away. Without the ability to communicate and coordinate efforts, law and order broke down as certainly as their equipment had. As the months passed, looters concentrated less on robbing banks and department stores to cleaning out grocery shelves, then resorted to more gruesome and grizzly means of acquiring sustenance.
People had been slipping away in small numbers prior to the black-out, but rumors began to circulate as many fled the suburbs to seek out friends and loved ones in rural areas of mass disappearances: Abandoned homes, entire ghost towns. Few of the looters survived the conflagration they had started, turning on eachother when there had been nothing and no one else to consume. Those who fought them off successfully or fled their coming began to organize into makeshift caravans, armed and armored. Like nomads, they pressed onward, in search of others, gathering what resources were still available. After the sixth month, as days grew cold and short, stores scarce and depleted, most had to harden themselves against a new adversary: the elements. Some of the nomadic groups fought eachother. Others knew they could not survive without cooperation and some sort of voluntary structure. Most took refuge in deserted rural communities. Seven months into the disaster, the lights came back on - what little still worked.
It happened about a week or so after a makeshift network had been cobbled together among the various communities using library information, solar and wind power and two-way radios. Strangely enough, it was the newer TV sets that came back on, along with those weather radios that go off automatically or sound an alarm during an emergency. Hope rose again! Many anticipated information about help on the way and how to make avail of it. They didn't know the worst had not begun yet.
On the radios, there was only ambient sound: sometimes footsteps or rustling of papers. Muffled, distant voices. The broadcast was continuous. At the same time, a jamming signal stopped the newly-established two-way network cold: All channels and frequencies were deluged with static.
On the televisions was a singular image on every channel. There was a long counter-like desk, lit by a single lamp, near which sat a very heavyset man in an office chair. Figures moved about the desk, infront of and behind it, silhouetted in darkness. They appeared to be wearing military fatigues, or in some cases, SWAT team gear. The top of the counter seemed to be obscured, but strange light emanated from it's surface, competing with the lamp in muted colors, but still much too dim to fully illuminate the room. Every so often, one of the military/SWAT personnel would walk up to the fat man, seated with his back to the camera, and hand him a sheet of paper, or point at something on the desk. The a/v simulcast went on like so for about a day, during which most of the audience discovered it was no longer possible to turn off their TV sets or radios, as they operated on some power source other than conventional electricity.
Finally, someone picked up the camera, moved it to another spot in the room, and started to adjust it. All the men crowded around the glowing countertop took station on either side of the seated obesity, and as the light level rose and the focus cleared, the camera zoomed in on fatstuff.
He appeared to be somewhere between middle-aged and elderly, with thick glasses in round, black frames, held on his face by a nose that could only be described as aquiline. The thick jowls betrayed some part of the Slavik world or Russian Federation as his home. His speech confirmed this. They were not the words of a comforter, or an agent of mercy. It was more like an orientation lecture; one in which the information provided is a matter of life and death, underscored with that last threat in no uncertain terms.
"Greetings!
My name, you will learn in due course. It is in reality, as irrelevant as your own. Suffice to say, I am the individual who owns you. I have for some time, now! As far as you are concerned, think of me as God!

In the falling shrouds of shadow, as the light from the counter grew more intense, it did not even appear they were human.

Americans didn't want debt and dependency, nor the two common flavors of war: Hot & Cold. The news liars droned on with false accusations of "war-monger", but it fell on deaf ears, because there were no wars, and we were in the business of deterring future ones, not starting them. We also actually knew what "conservative" meant, and it didn't mean "read my lips" neocon compromise! Now, 1982 seems as far away as Alpha Centauri; an obscure blip on the intermittent periphery of my memorial radar. America is in far worse shape than it ever was under Reagan, or Carter, or even Johnson. One out of two Americans won't work, expecting government to provide them a cradle-to-grave handout. The same lying leftist social(ist) engineers who were so desperately pimping fagitry as an "alternate lifestyle" then, are starting to sing the same perverts privileges dirge for the chickenhawks. When the Internet started getting popular, Galt-in-Da-Box's favorite term for it was "CB radio for the middle class".
With all the security issues associated with the world's most well-known social network, perhaps it's time to steal some pages from the playbook of it's hilljack progenitor. I have contemplated departure many times, but find the benefits of new friends far superior to the risk of running into idiots from highschool I couldn't stand, identity theft and political shills of every hue. Back on CB, everyone had "handles", and pretty much knew only an idiot put his whole life out on the air for everyone else to know. Fast forward 30 years, mix in dumb-down FOOLosophical non-education with it's multicultural, egalitarian stupidity and presumption that "everybody is YOUR buddy!" - and calamity ensues as identity theft abounds! I recently modified my profile to supply substantially less accurate information - not that it was entirely straight-forward before - because of security concerns, and therefore suggest the following, for anyone experiencing endless issues with their current account, or who wants to open one but make sure it doesn't get hacked, or otherwise used against you.
1. Don't use your real name.
I have never used mine on the internet. That is your first line of defense!
2. Use partial/group/non-personal photos for your profile.
The top of your head is not revealing, nor a picture of you at a distance/walking away. Another good technique is an old picture nobody would recognize but friends you knew from that time. For more anonymity, you in a group of strangers or a picture of your pet. A stuffed animal or your favorite cartoon character works well.
3. Fudge the numbers.
Reverse the month-day digits for your birthday. Only tell what state you are from, not hometown or where you now live. Leave as much blank as possible.
4. Do I know you?
Only accept friend requests from people you know. Generally, you will have to look for them & introduce yourself by message, but information control is still yours.
5. Some obvious tips:
Frame all posts and comments only in the parameters of what you want known, especially personal info. NEVER give your phone number, SSN, bank accounts or other clearly sensitive info to anyone!
If you are 40 or older, this is probably the sort of stuff you already do in any social parameter. The younger, thanks to pubic screwools, need "expansion on the plain" in detail because government indoctrination and Ritalin tend to lean heavily anti-common sense:

You have some local communities with a little stability, some national "Baghdad Bob"s still trying to talk the public into the 0bammunist cheering section, and a shitload of Wall Street analysts desperately trying to keep a straight face and disguise reality in speculative, confusing double-talk. To get a realistic appraisal, you have to go outside the country. For those who don't rely on the Establishment press, it's a lot simpler to do some common-sense reckoning:
Does a country which has a government that's too stupid to figure out it can't afford to play God have much of a future? When people are allowed to do as they please, you get Woodstock. When government does as it pleases, you get Auschwitz! Oh, say the "experts", we can't stop the union labor gravy train that is the bureaucratic Workfare Schtaat! If we cut off the welfare for the rich and the wars to kill off the poor, what will the Jonesovichs that run the banks think? I got a newsflash for such "experts": Those Bankstaz for whom you stump, shill and whore yourselves out will gladly jack, rape & leave you for the buzzards once they've finished burying America so gently it doesn't even know it's dead, then laugh about it over chilled Maniscevitz on a charter to "New Khazakhstan".
And that time may come a lot sooner than later. Soros is pulling up stakes and joining the long line of fat rats deserting the ship they've gnawed the holes in to sink. The evidence suggests our politicians suffer from an acute deficiency in motivation to do what is right, in light of which Galt-in-Da-Box would like to make some suggestions:
How about we start treating them the way they have treated US for centuries and millennia before now? I.e: "Do what we tell you, or get your ass kicked!" I'd sign that petition/resolution in a heartbeat. There are atleast a dozen of those bastards I could name off the top of my head who merit ATLEAST an ass-whuppin'. Some friends suggested a rebirth of tarring and feathering. I believe that, since they like to exempt themselves from the laws they pass, they aught to be exempted from the Bill of Rights as well!
Don't you think your Senator or Representative would do a lot better if there were consequences associated with fucking up? We didn't have "attention defecit disorder" when I was a kid, we had ass-beatin's: A form of punishment delivered to a "brat" - a child who believed he had a right to everything to the degree he forgot the "pecking order". In addition to constituents getting "one free poke" at crooked politicians, the whole SHAMING method has great potential: if you "don't know/can't recall/do not remember/categorically deny all knowledge of" who you were hired and sent up the Hill to serve, you should have to wear a DUNCE cap whenever on TV or in public. Because most folks don't think, they believe bullshit only comes from select, very partisan and exclusively conservative political sources. Au contraire! In our enLIEtened day and time, bullshit is EVERYWHERE in evermore deepening, discouraging piles: Doctors, lawyers, teachers, students...especially politicians and businessmen are - literally and figuratively full of shit...Hence why their pieholes when open, are such magnificent, excellent fountains - often the perpetually flowing variety - of bullshit. Lately though, I've noticed that even politicians and businessmen have nothing on clergymen. Take for example the radio preacher I overheard the other day, supposedly teaching a "Radio Bible Class" who, after allegedly teaching such for decades, said the question he got the most was the one that still baffled him, and that he had the hardest time answering: "How can I know the will of God for my life?" Common sense is profitable to direct here: If you are REALLY a "man of God" who has any semblance of knowledge of the Bible from personal study (I.e: NOT that canned, canonical bullshit they spoon-feed you in "Cemetary" School) you already know the Bible is the revealed Word of God. Therefore reading it would be the best Way to learn "God's will for your life"...which amazingly enough, is usually far removed from some ethereal, nebulous, murky mystery nobody can understand and know for certain. The real issue is not "finding God's will" for one's life...Most people waste their time in some religious corpse of a church, synagogue or mosque for the expressed purpose of avoiding that knowledge, and religion makes them comfortable while doing it - hence it's popularity: Why learn and do the Truth from His Own Lips, figuratively speaking, when one can get comforted by the cognitive-dissonance-based group-feel of a social club believing that which requires no effort or thought instead?
It's terrible when somebody "bullshits" you, but much worse to bullshit yourself!

I just hope she has some good common sense about managing money that doesn't desert her now, when she needs it most (Freaking miracle she didn't have a coronary & keel over dead away when she found out...What I figure would happen if this was sprung on me).
Ninety-nine out of 100 big winners end up worse off for the experience: Family troubles, debt, etc.
I have to confess I'm somewhat conflicted on the issue of legalized gambling, and wouldn't have any trouble at all with it if
A-It were used only to pay off public debts, and
B-The only other taxes government could levy would be value-added tax, and that could never exceed 8.33%
What ever may ill be said of gaming - and there's plenty that could be - it is the only form of taxation in which payment is 100% voluntary.
Since - whether we admit it or not - we'd all like to be in her shoes, let's conduct a PAC (post a comment) opinion Poll.

What To Do If You Win Big:
If you're prepared for the worst, it rarely ever happens. In light of this, if you ever hit it big in some kind of contest, sweepstakes or lottery, here are a few things you should do:

You're going to get bombarded by gimmees looking for handouts anyway, so you should plan to get maximum write-off for said giving, and the appeals may even help you decide who is most worthy.
6-Pay the consultation fee, and see a lawyer about possible ramifications and consequences arising from your "new found wealth." It's true that, there is no crime for which you will be punished more severely than your success, so get the facts.
7-Then and only then, claim your prize/collect your winnings...And get lost for a while.

Including and especially the altruists themselves! Ever notice how the upper echelons of "both" party are populated with Old Money, Filthy Rich who - if they ever worked at all - it was nearly always in the Looter Sector as a politician or bureaucrat, or the Moocher Sector as advocacy for some "enLIEtened" designer cause or ethical fad? And these hucksters rake in MILLIONS with their empty-headed emotionalism-laden bullshit stories, thus enabling their corruptocrat cronies in office. But somehow, if you own a farm or a factory, if you supply the nation with power or the fuel to produce it; if you are a private sector employer or employee off of whom the Political Class leeches you are a decadent, evil, greedy capitalist pig/are the problem and must be controlled or eliminated.
In true John Galt fashion, and in observation of the fact Ayn Rand's working title for Atlas Shrugged was The Strike, I would like to propose that everyone in America's private sector, from the CEOs on down to the janitors, not go out of business, but on strike, as of September 17th, 2011 and demand the government live within it's means as a condition for returning to work, though we really aught to demand it divest itself of any and all agencies not authorized by the Constitution. The Washington establishment already sees you as nothing more than expendable plebes for it's foreign wars, useful idiots to be propagandized by it's indoctrination system and chattel to be extorted...WTF do you have to lose besides your chains, which will soon grow heavier!? It can either be a flexing of your muscle with a strike now, or a bloody massacre of a revolution when the chains of taxes and regulation turn into whips of fiat enforcement, because if you keep enabling and capitulating to a tyrant, you get more tyranny. Since my last post, Casey Anthony has given everyone a clear and vivid insight into the mind of the modern American feminStaazi.
Here are a few dozen other various and sundry casualty reports. Regular readers should know I am almost entirely opposed to all forms of marriage, but if people decide to get married, they should take a good, hard look at the consequences of failure before leaping headlong into it. A career woman should choose either a career or marriage, not both (or bare minimum avoid a career until the "empty nest" years after the kids are raised) and men should be much more careful in their search for a wife. The logic behind this is that the nation and the species need fit fathers and mothers much more than they need PowerPoint presentations and socialist workers. Unfortunately, these things do not happen often, and the carnage and destruction environ us on every hand!
America is the absolute worst place to get married, unless the man is extremely well-heeled, thick-skinned, a glutton for undeserved punishment, wishes to become a beckoned call slave, and is absolutely certain he can jump through all her hoops with flawless precision, and that she is the loving, sweet and forgiving type all the time, not just til his signature is dry on the contract. My mother's favorite divorced woman saying rings in my ears to this day: "I don't need a goddamn man to support!" If hers were the only mouth I had ever heard it from, perhaps I'd be more lenient on this subject. It was not.
Libertarians are doctrinaire/de facto pro-choice on everything, but the choice to abort should be made BEFORE the child is born, not after. One wonders, given the its-all-about-ME perspective of most feminStaazi, what unthinking abuse that little girl suffered before her mother "didn't murder" her. Having seen my brother in law, nephews & nieces suffer under the reign of feminStaazi, I can't overemphasize the necessity of men today to give their "serious relationships" a 20 point inspection, especially since every benefit of marriage and then some are usually available without it - for now: As Congress and SCOTUS continue to become more populated with emo-dinglebrains like Pelosi, HITLERy & Palin, we know not how long such privileges shall be allowed, and what future assessments will be made against single men to support the swelling, aging ranks of twat-licking, cat-collectors who prefer the coven to the congregation.

While I admit with Fred there's hardly a non-pale, female face among the authors of the Harvard Classics, and this distinction points one in generally the right direction, there's a greater and firmer foundation that gave rise to such: Freedom - personal liberty - is the most precious thing in the world, and unfortunately, becoming even more scarce as the days pass...particularly and alarmingly, right here at home. When I constantly read of citizens strip- searched in airports, shot dead in their own homes during no-knock raids and more recently bludgeoned, battered and tazed by police on their doorsteps for being disabled and "impudent", Galt-in-Da-Box grows more concerned than ever we are careening speedily toward an authoritarian fascism where liberty will be once again, a rationed commodity considered by bougoise leftist/socialist/spiritualist elite in power "FOR ME, but not for thee". The pompous arrogance of Papists has been inherited by their "Progressive" detractors and it looks more and more this Independence Day as though they are the ones the minions of the state exist "to protect and serve".
I see an emerging citizenry that has had all understanding of Liberty "educated" out of them. Chances are excellent that, if you ask a recent graduate what constitutes Western Civilization, he won't respond "THE RIGHT TO BE FREE", but rather some whimpered, lame effeminence about "White, European planet-plundering misogynists!" thanks to the excrement he's been fed in government "schools". Spiritualism produces weakness, promotes tyranny, and is characterized, in the end, not by due process or the rule of law, but the rule of the state-wielded club and whip. Earlier I wrote we had come full circle, back to the imperialism we had escaped. That may have been too lenient and optimistic an assessment! My chief concern is that we have produced such a chronically-dependent and effeminized generation they will gladly surrender the ability to defend themselves for false political promises of bread and circuses.
If the attitude persists that "as long as it's not happening to ME, why should I care?", the door is open for far greater abuses and usurpations.

Half this year is gone, so how are those New Year's Resolutions coming?
Not so bad at my end, I didn't bother making any. We do have a Public Service Announcement for the Un(der)employed, and especially for those in that category with serious ethical issues: You can make more money than a senator, a drug dealer and a military contractor together - and all perfectly legal - if you go into the burgeoning, ever-expanding and not about to collapse anytime soon - religion business.
All you have to do is borrow enough money to get a stained-glass-decked, motivational whorehouse on a street corner somewhere. Start in the middle-income district. Figure out how to mix telling people what they want to hear, papered over with a few Bible verses or Koran quotations here and there, build in a shop where glittering idols and play-pretties can be sold at exorbitant prices, and you're on your way! Once you've perfected the (witch?)craft of altruism, added a pinch of conservative/liberal social gospel and arranged well in advance just what and who you're going to talk your robots into hating (this can be anything from guns to abortion; Muslims to white people), you can move up to the big time: Sunday morning TV! This guilt-trip/fear-mongering/ego-trip-selling industry takes in BILLIONS a year, pays no taxes on it, spends most of it lobbying Congress into everything from foreign wars to importing foreign bottom-feeders, alms to sots, water wells for wetbacks & access to public assistance for those who never contributed a freaking penny to pay for it, and thus has - neck-and-neck with the Fried Earth Club spiritualists - the greatest bullshit story ever told!
You might well say to me that religion is not supposed to be a business, and I have to agree, but I'm not the one you need to convince: Tell it to the fancy, empty suits parading around in front of courthouses and cameras pretending to care so much about "unborn children, race relations" or the ethical fad of the day. These gainsaying hucksters are famous and wealthy because millions of people who claim to believe the Bible but never crack The Book hang on their every feigned word. The first contributed nothing more than biological matterial, but nonetheless without him, the others would have had nothing to build on. Mom and he were married, however that means little if the couple have not planned ahead for/do not want the child, anti-choice propaganda & other religious hyperbole notwithstanding. Growing up tolerated is a poor substitute for being wanted, but I've seen and met plenty who didn't even have that!
The second was God: I was born again in a hotel room in Tucumcari, NM on 12JUN1983 while reading the Bible, God's Word (2 Timothy 3:1-5 & Romans 10:9&10 to be exact). If it were not for Him in general and my big Brother in particular, I never would have made it out of puberty.
Third was Bob Fiore, who taught me self reliance and to think and believe for myself, that religion can be helpful or harmful, but most importantly it is your own time in The Word & fellowship with God that determine how far you go and grow motivationally. This father lives what he teaches!
The man who finished the job showed me how to serve and lead, and I am thank-full for Skip Elliott's fine - if unintended - example.
Some in the Ivy League high-born, and definately their Khazar owners would call my life a failure, but I've seen what their definition of "success" has to offer: Religion without spirituality. Education without understanding and wisdom. Wealth without accountability or responsibility. Sex without love. Matterial possessions without enjoyment or appreciation. It's not just in Celebrityville this "suck-cess"-fool deathstyle leads to oceans of liquor and mountains of prescriptions (to say nothing of other drugs) consumed in an endless quest to get numb enough to feel something "good". It's the other "gutter" existence, and it doesn't matter if the curb is covered with yellow Welfare paint or gold-leaf etching, Easy Street, is still a dead end.
Sometimes I wonder about that first father and also my son. They both disappeared forever in 2008, and through very blessed circumstances I got to know the latter much more than the former. As Paul was warned of God perpetually in the book of Acts to not go to Jerusalem so I am constrained to avoid the "family tree", but I am grateful that there is a branch reaching into the future: Wherever he is now, I hope he left a lot more behind than just a few possessions. I hope none of the negative things I saw cling to him now and the best ones grow. I hope he discovers there's more to life than what the world calls success, and he finds, without the deadweight of secrets, a way to make his dreams become reality.
Most of all though, I hope!

This solution attacks the issue on several fronts:

2. Stop paying Crap-lick Altruism International to import and settle them as "refugees" (People have a tendency to want to kill you and break your stuff when you invade their country and slaughter their friends and relatives, altruistic excuses notwithstanding).
3. Try minding your own fucking business for a while, instead of everyone else's. Contrary to the romantic assertions of the Whore of Babylon, war is not glorious, the majority of Americans are sick and tired of wasting money policing the entire world, and the Second Amendment provides all the "homeland security" we need through armed citizens who will happily shoot any invader anytime.
Think militias don't work? Tell that to the Somalis who kicked the USMC's ass, and the Swiss who - for very good reason - have never been successfully invaded and conquered.
4. Put people in public office who are NOT whored out to AIPAC, the World Bank & the International Monetary Fund (a/k/a Old-Money, Filthy-Rich Khazakhs), instead of the bead-fingering, idol-worshipping, fatalist pseudochristians that make up most the government. Religion doesn't cause war, but it does seem more than happy to make up convenient excuses for it whenever the BanKhazars want to indenture US even further...Follow the money trail, peeps!
5-10. GET RID OF THE "FEDERAL" RESERVE (which Galt-in-Da-Box lovelessly refers to as KikeBancUSA) & put America on a monetary system based on genuine, tangible asset value, instead of endless fucking DEBT!

Despite yet-again-frustrated plans to visit Dad in Cincinnati, an awesome time was had here at CFHQ.
Various other locales, not so much:

Take for example Monticello, where American citizens were denied their First Amendment rights and subjected to abuse for exercising them. Maybe NWA was right after all!

"Onward Christian Pederasts" as another highly-placed, shuffled-out-of-prosecution chickenhawk shows his true colors, it's not politically correct to say he's a Craplick priest. Bet you never would have guessed, though! Especially when his boss starts making excuses for the perverted behavior.
And my family can't understand why I don't wish to crawl back into that filthy sewer!
Hats off to the few who have actually managed to extract what little truth there is from that shabby corner of the flea market of ideas and carve out a fairly decent motivational existence for themselves, it's just that Galt-in-Da-Box prefer to shop elsewhere.

Tying this all together, it seems the authoritarian Papistocracy's getting a warmer reception than usual in some places, but nothing next to what will be happening if religio-political murder and oppression under the guise of concept war (on drugs/terror), waged with violent, midnight no-knock raids continue.

If what you own or rent is not yours and you are a ward of The State in your own home; if you are subject anytime and place to unlawful search and seizure without warrant or even probable cause, you are not free! We have gone from The Bill of Rights, by way of pragmatic rationalization and the constant political manufacture of excuses, to gate rape in the airports and court-sanctioned murder in our own homes, so the Tenth Amendment is now joined by the Fourth in the box of rights inalienable "except...unless...pending revision" &c. Keep being bought off by the dangled carrot of welfare bribes, and it won't be long before the entire Constitution becomes a politically corrected null and void!
Tyrants have no respect for the rule of law: They look at it as ever subject to how they feeeeeel about it at the moment. Due process is inconvenient; they prefer a gun in their hand and a club to your head. The Days Of Our Lives

Had a great week, now that I'm back on a regular schedule:
Friday was the best. The work day started with a free gift and ended with a free meal. The free gift was a Brinks strong box somebody threw out, complete with keys, because it lacked a handle. Otherwise, it worked fine, so it will make an excellent addition to the vehicle for insurance documents, more important/valuable gear, etc. On the way home, I stopped at Taco Bell for a late "cinco de Mayo". It looked like a mistake because the drive-thru was longer than the great wall of China and at damnear $5/gallon, I'm not keen to waste gas setting still, going nowhere. I got inside just before they slammed and locked the door on the joint, and the line to the counter was just as long. There was some kind of basketball tournament in town, and basketball being more of a religion in Indiana than a sport, every restaurant open for five miles around the colluseum was getting a late-night swamping.
Just off work and my feet killing me, I grabbed a chair and sat to await the clearing of the storm. They had all these new sauces out, including a return of salsa verde, so I stocked up once my order was in the system and went back to my seat. As everybody picked up and left the party ahead of me apparently didn't stay to get theirs - which they had already paid for! The clerk made it available to anyone that wanted it, and I was the only one to express an interest...NEVER turn down free food! My streak of getting good-new stuff just before someone decides to waste it or throw it out thus continued unabated, and my belated celebration was that much more festive: Nachos & a taco to go with the burrito I bought.
So what if it was actually siete de Mayo when all was said, done and eaten? It went well with wine.
Yesterday morning there was a Biblical principles breakfast to attend, and after that I renewed old friendships at the Historic Old Fort Wayne. After lunch my best friend called, and we made arrangements to do a little Mother's Day boomstick shopping at Gander Mountain & grab lunch today.
She's kinda the reason I haven't spent much time here lately!

Prayer That Works

Stop and think about it: Most prayer you hear is not fervent, and certainly falls short of effectual (James 5:16). God has made victory, deliverance and the more abundant life available to whosoever believeth in Him (Ephesians 1:1-11, John 3:16), but religion has set people up for failure, teaching them to chant vain repititions, or ask amiss (James 4:3), based on empty-headed emotionalism, not the Word. Since religion is based on spiritualism and altruism; the FOOL/FEELosophy that you are nothing but a sacrificial animal to be offered up to appease a three-headed, whimsical, transvestite Earth-goddess who alternately calls herself Mary/Jesus/God/the Holy Ghost, most Believers start out in confusion and doubt they will see results and never get much further. In reality, God wants His Child confident in His promises and therefore asking for the best possible outcome. For our learning (Romans 15:4, Galatians 3:24), the Old Testament and Gospels are replete with examples of Believers who A-knew The Word, which is God's Will, and to ask according to it (1 John 5:14&15) and B-took action once they had prayed to see the specific details come to pass - that's called Believing (James 2:14-18). Religion ends in vain prayers, mental ascent and wasted effort, basically what you have when all these elements are separated. Combined together, they can move mountains!
You may recall I've referred to a certain cabal of meddlesome lawyers as the Professional Excuse-Making Industry. Believers today are by and large caught up in a spiritualist excuse-making non-industry that discourages believing in wishy-washy "iffith it beeith thy willith 0 Lordith" non-commited, responsibility and work-free talk, where believing action is replaced with designer causes and ethical fads. Imagine what miracles could be brought to pass if, instead of wasting resources on handouts to dopers and drunks, we focussed on helping fellow believers grow and prosper with the rightly- divided Word and rewarded achievement instead of failure? We might finally start seeing the things recorded in the Book of Acts become a practical reality as the bondage of religion was replaced by the manifested power of God in believing men and women...
There might even be folks outside that were encouraged by the example and inspired to find out how to do the same!

Reality Or Rationalizations

There are three arguments commonly resorted to in defending religion in general and Vaticanism in particular against the healing, liberating realities taught by the Word of God:
They are 1) The appeal to tradition. 2)The appeal to mysticism. 3)The appeal to coercion. Basically, when a mind-numbed robot is confronted with the reality from God's Word that he is worshipping an idol/serving a pantheon, not the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the tradition argument commonly resorted to is that Catholicism (All 17 versions of it, presumably) is the "one true and only church, and you would not even have a Bible if it were not for 'The Church'." This Establishment defense rests its case not on "The Church" being correct, or even accurate, but ancient. When examined in detail, serious issues arise with this position, not the least of which are the facts laid out in the Book of Acts show the First Century Believers worshipped ONE God, as did the Hebrews. If Peter was "the first pope", as dogma holds, where is the associated pomp, circumstance & bureaucracy? Why does Paul become the central focus of the action after Chapter 9? Why can we search all Paul's Church Epistles and find no mention of nuns, monks, celibacy, veneration of saints in icons, the use of talismans &c, despite all the defense of them as tradition by Rome?
Next, the mysticism-based argument, used to go that "nobody can understand the Scriptures except the priests" and has now settled down to something like "for those who believe, no explanation is necessary, for those who do not, no explanation is possible." The fundamental assertion is that you exist only to be subservient to strangely-dressed and stranger-behaving "betters" whose word must be held in equal or superior authority to Holy Writ, and "you just gotta take it on faith". I suppose that, as in most political systems where the proles are expected to turn off their brains and play Simon Sez, this sort of rationalization makes sense - in fact, it is the exact kind of feudal monarchy or dictatorship most "Christian nations" of Europe once were, and many South and Central American countries have become! This premise demands you NEVER use your mind to Objectively reason or logically conclude; that you limit yourself to the coffin-shaped box of someone else's private interpretation. Acceptance of the premise means the debasement of the individual Believer's intellect, to which the Word of God is addressed, and only by which it can properly function: You cannot sanely or honestly believe what you do not understand.
The third and final contention is what Galt-in-Da-Box likes to refer to as the "IF YOU DON'T" argument, popular in all forms of "Christian" religion at one point or other, and ever called upon by Fundamentalists to force the proles to buy their bi-polar, schitzophrenic, duplicitous portrayals of Divine character, basically stated as "Well IF YOU DON'T (get with the pogrom/buy the Party line) you're going to Hell!!!" It is a tired weapon of last resort for the dispensationalist and an overused blodgeon by the charismatic. First of all, if God is an abusive parent, who would want to be His child? If the Almighty has nothing better to do than to send Big Brother Fake around to bash the congregants and threaten them with Hell for not putting the cap back on the toothpaste, Jesus Christ wasted His Life and time on the cross. There were plenty of trivial things punishable by death and Hell in the Old Testament - a stringent code of ethics the WASP CULTure propounded by Funny-mental-ists today has yet to improve on - so why go through the expense and effort of establishing the gospel of Jesus Christ to shew His mercy and truth?
The devil invented religion for people who don't want to think, and therefore can't believe the realities of the Word. The Judeans/Hebrews of the Lord Jesus Christ's day and time wanted a political saviour. Many people wanted the same thing in 2008, and look what happened!? An individual with no sense of himself will move to seek a counterfeit identity in one group or another. Hitler brought a whole nation under his thumb due to this, and led them down the road to perdition. For the individual seeking reason for living, and a life which is more than abundant, there's a much better Hope available than all the copped-out collectivism and intimidation on Earth!
God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and set Him at His own right hand to show every man what is available if he is willing to boldly take God at His Word. You and I have a choice to make: Stay where we are and be defeated, shuffle along in goose-step with the world - including the "Christian"ized filthy, stinking worldliness - and be destroyed, or look for truth and victory in the Word of God, and get delivered.

Events of late, and particularly those being operated by the devil spirit realm to manipulate them for their own profit, make no sense outside the pale of the Word of God:

While it is unlikely we are living in the times the Book of Revelation describes in detail - apologies to all the Funny-mental-ists who got wetties when it was quoted - there are shocking truths about those who serve the Adversary as if he were the Almighty contained therein. It doesn't pull any punches in the Old Testament either (watch those hot flashes, Fundies) where they are time and again referred to as "men of Belial", and infers they consort and affiliate with one another.
Eversince in my springtime years I made the mistake of searching through "Christian" religion for truth, instead of searching the Scriptures, Galt-in-Da-Box has been pillored with sincere beseechings to support the "Jews" in Israel and stand against any who oppose them. I never really gave it much thought until noticing several issues with the premise of the modern "Jew" absolutely, positively HAVING to be "God's chosen people" - as every church descended from Vaticanism that retained its polytheistic, spiritualist, fatalist, and salvation-by-altruism dogmas vehemently asserted. Nonetheless I didn't believe it really mattered, even for many years after discovering the facts, because I was not a "Jew" and had no plans to become one anytime soon. In time, the minor issues noticed earlier became more pronounced: Almost all among the Old-Money Filthy-Rich, constant whining and falsely accusing others of "anti-semitism" to extract more wealth and make names for themselves and the gross physical ingongruities with actual semitic peoples of the Middle East, virtually all of whom were olive-complected/persons of color. About this time I started running into no small number of excommunicated and former "Jews" who had verified Arthur Koestler's "Khazar hypothesis" - as set forth in his books The Thirteenth Tribe and The Myth of the Six Million - from family history and genealogies, who had confronted the hierarchy of the religion and been consequencially cast out. While I definately still believe there is a faithful remnant of the house of Israel, I have come to have serious reservations and lingering doubts about the most popular claim-layers to said title. I've also taken great care to trace the references given in Mr. Koestler's publications, and have yet to find an error in his research. BTW, have you noticed a precipitous drop in the ammount of "boo-hoo over the Holocaust"-aganda coming out in theatres and TV LATELY? It might have something to do with all that money changing hands in plain sight between Wall Street, mortgage banks and government bail-out bribes, and perhaps a tacit admission by the Rockefellers and Soroses they know the game's about up.

Honestly, word that sometime between April 2-4 was the new appointment Earth was to get the Almighty Finger has weighed heavily on all at CFHQ to be certain because of media hype & how many usually get taken in by it, but we've taken great comfort in the Scripture:

"And he (the Lord Jesus Christ) said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in his own power." - Acts 1:7

"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." - Matthew 13:31-33

Seriously folks, how many times do we have to go through this before we get it? Whenever some preacher wants to make a name for himself we get one of these lame-ass, Word-contradicting predictions. Those who hang on every word of Reverend Personality Cult usually take the biggest hit, as they trusted the "expert", not the Truth of God's Word, sold everything they had/went massively in debt to help him spread his warning. They usually find out day after their beloved, so-sincere-sounding preacher has departed to await the coming of the Lord in a mansion in the Caymans, along with all their dough! I don't know when the world's going nipples up, but from the passages above I'm pretty sure it won't be on 21DEC2012, or any other date religion pulls out of its body cavity to scare the non-Scripture-searching suckers into its time-wasting machine and out of their money.

A Thin But Silver Lining

Buried under tons of tradition, superstition & spiritualism I found the little bit of truth that could make the difference for millions.
It happened when I read this article and compared the subject matter against Romans 10:9, 10. I could see enough of the latter in the former to logically conclude that anyone who had ever recited it and believed what they were saying is saved! This may not jive with a lot of religious dogma, but born again is born again! It also trumps whatever ritual or other foolishness folks have been taught as being essential to salvation.
On that note, a few observations on this whole "Lent" business: I guess they call it that, because whatever you give up for it you're not supposed to get back - not unlike many things I have "Lent" out over the years and never seen again - because I couldn't find any references to it in The Word. Anyway, I look at it like Christmas, or New Years Resolutions and such. It can't hurt to do some Mardi Gras and use this time to get rid of a habit in your life you don't care for, by replacing it with a good one...With that in mind, I got an inventory that'll keep me busy every spring from now til retirement!! Start out simple if you've never done it before, just like New Years' Resolutions. Use little, annoying habits that are easy to break for practice. I know I'll never send Jim FAKKEr another dime, so that might work for you, too. Swear off voting for Dubya. Starting to catch on to how this works? Kinda' makes it fun, too.
Hell, I gave up religion for lent many moons back and never missed it.

Pre-Weeding & Weeding Out

If you hurry, you can still take advantage of early March and significantly curtail the weed population in your yard. If you rent your home and your landlord's a cheap Khazakh bastard (but alas, I repeat myself), you've looked out the window more than once to an overgrowth of ugly, unwanted and useless plant life even bees can't get anything out of, so take this tip from Galt-in-Da-Box:
Get your ass down to Wal-Manaca, Meijer or your suitable local equivalent & buy a dozen of the cheapest 2# boxes of salt they have - which will usually be the store brand. Once you get them home, scout out all the now-barren areas that were thick with weeds last year. Turn the boxes upside down and punch 10-12 small holes in the bottom. You are basically making giant salt-shakers. Shake the salt out onto the problem areas just before the next big rain. Repeat proceedure throughout spring. Just before Summer, clear away the brown, withered plant-remains from last year & lay down cypress mulch over the weeded areas.
*Yeah, I know there's no such animal as an odorless fart, butt this method works: It cut my wasted time outside in half!

Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated, but after a while you get the impression it's as if you had expired.
Sorry I've been off the reservation so long, but I'm one of those birds that has to start the "spring cleaning" in winter or it'll never get done.
It being in exceedingly poor condition, I have assigned myself family unification duty, and have been devoting significant time to planning how that will be accomplished, the best events around which it will be brought about, and just how much effort to expend toward same should the desired effect not be realized: When dealing with those whose hearts are granitized by idolatry, it's best to have as much preparation as possible, and to make clear that truth, not tradition, is the rally point. There are also projects I've put off for too many years now I am getting on with. I hope you are taking charge of your life as well. If not, it's not too late to start. One interesting event occurred on FaceBook about a week ago when everyone was blowing up over the Wisconsin whining, whack-offs, whimperings and walk outs. Galt-in-Da-Box had the audacity to state the obvious in the midst of the maelstrom of partisan jingoism and triangulation amid acquaintences thereon, by simply stating the truth. That will usually show up who your friends are, and about a half-dozen bailed...here is the spring cleaning/burn the chaff remark, incase you want to find out how many of your own acquaintances are producers, and who the parasites are:

What offends the leeches in our society about this - particularly the boomer set - is they have been living off others thoughtlessly for so long they cannot distinguish any difference between a gift, a right and an entitlement. A gift is that which someone chooses to provide, while a right is the freedom to do or accomplish something for yourself. "Entitlement" is propaganda; a myth fabricated by the political class to justify the forcible extraction of assets from some to bribe others for their votes! It's not charity, it isn't care or compassion, it's a damn bribe! Unfortunately, eighty years of such bribes has resulted in the production of hoardes of unthinking, non-producing individuals who believe these bribes - the loot of plunder - are their right. They run the gambit; from CEOs to street people, from the ghetto to the boardroom, and the higher on the socio-economic pyramid you climb, the bigger the bribes get. Welfare, it would seem, is not just for the "poor" after all, especially since the Bush error! I commend the honest few who were not blinded or bought off and refused them or left their target class. The bottom line is the old age of unearned reward and the new one of needing to pay the debt run up by all this thievery and bribery are two trains on the same track, headed at eachother at full speed!

What A Difference Believing Makes

Evangelism versus salesmanship or lawyerism.
Spent most this morning breaking fast and fellowshipping around Acts chapter 8 with some good friends. It was that very record that got me out of religion and into actually believing many moons ago: I had wasted four years running around in search of that great, fabled Never-neverland known as "the one true church", blisslessly ignorant that The Church is something you become at the new birth, not something you go to or play. Finally worn out and depressed as well as confused, I "read the instructions" about how to put this "more abundant life" thing together, asked The Author for help and started getting answers. Verses 1- 25 show how a certain disciple named Philip went out and woke up an entire community, including its spiritualist guru. The rest of the chapter details his encounter with the treasurer of Ethiopia and how that prominent leader's hunger for truth and meaning was filled - the part of the chapter that captured my attention!
An evangelist is not a hack with a hick accent that parades around on TV waving a big old Bible around and shouting at everybody they better "git raht wiyith JEE-ZUS!!!". He is simply a Believer of God's Word who has been changed by such a good, healthy dose of Truth he is contageous with it. Read the record and you see a man walking with Power, who set captives free and opened the eyes of the blind in more ways than one. Because of this, he was always in the right place at the right time to make a difference. What a contrast to the (literally) Mass-produced throngs of good, but powerless drones cranked out by religion's factories today! I often think if a dozen or so churchgoers were to believe God that big in our day it would nearly cause a riot with all the dispensational nonsense most have been poisoned, but that is The Way as it's supposed to be: God is just as able and willing to help people today. He's waiting for those who are willing to be the helpers.
I think a great principle of making it happen is embodied in what Goethe said centuries ago: "Before you can do something, you must be something." Philip was a man who built in his mind the image of Jesus Christ the gospels talk about: The Son of God Who healed the sick, raised the dead and cast out devils, and believed to do the same. Philip was not a self-righteous legalist, nor a propaganda-peddler with all kinds of distracting trinkets to sell, but someone who tasted of the goodness of God and shared it with those who wanted some.
The book of Acts shows that of which Believers are capable, and is the standard of what The Church should be.

Eliminate whatever is holding you back from being your best.
Mentally this can be fear, worry, procrastination, guilt or a myriad other useless negative emotional or motivational states. You don't need pills, you just have to consistently decide to move the other direction, until it becomes habit.
Physically, it comes down to removing unpleasant and demotivating influences from your living environment and surrounding yourself with that which inspires you. Ex: thank you card someone sent you for a job well done or visiting them when they were sick...KEEP & put somewhere visible. That picture of the once close friend who dissed you for no reason? PITCH, along with the resentment. Do you really need two boxes full of brand new 8-track tapes or 20 used cell phones you got for a dollar at the flea market? Burning The Chaff means traveling light and keeping life simple. There's a garage full of "ah might cud use thayat sumday" junk cluttering up the lives of most Americans today. One good idea is to take out an ad, open the garage door and have a "dollar sale". You can use the free space, peace of mind and cash, and your trash will become someone else's treasure!
A more important aspect of this is losing the attitude: Most people who fail in life never know how much downer junk they have in their mental garage that's keeping them from getting anywhere! Doubt (especially SELF-doubt) worry, fear, sorrow, anger and other heavy spiritual baggage, can be worse than a prison and boat anchors on our minds keeping us from getting anywhere. An important part of breaking out of these tiny mental prisons that are usually self-made is facing the reality that - contrary to popular belief and contemporary propaganda - NOBODY OWES YOU ANYTHING.
Funny-mental-ism in general and the perverse scribblings of a Prog Atheist by the name of Immanuel Kant in particular have made altruism the gospel of WASP CULTure, despite the most plainly and visible reality!!! The Western World has spent itself into oblivious debt to attempt an altruistic utopia because of mysticism's fairy-tales, and has nothing to show for it but unpayable debt, while countries that minded their own business and engaged in free trade among reasonable men are prosperous beyond belief: Once we accept the reality that nobody owes us anything we push our lazy backsides off the "ah gotz mah rights/it's not faaaaair!" bandwagon and put ourselves in a position to succeed, instead of setting ourselves up to fail - and find ourselves free...often for the first time in our lives.

My Bible says "he that passeth by and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears." (Proverbs 26:17), but the current situation in Egypt has the Johnny-Reb in American politricksters rattling their plastic, made-in-China sabers on both sides of the mythical aisle. Glenn Beck was wondering why chivalry is dead and more men don't intervene in domestic violence issues this week on his propaganda programs. Galt-in-Da-Box'd like to see "Mormon Moneybags" lead the charge, since he can afford the inevitable doctor & lawyer bills and most US plebes can't. Wouldn't mind finding out just who is supposed to pay for a THIRD police-action on terror when we haven't scratched the surface of paying for the last two yet? While we're at it, could one of the Khazakh legal beagles stirring up the war-drum-beaters show me which article in the Constitution says we are to permanently establish a military-industrial complex to keep US in perpetual debt-slavery by policing the entire world for the glory of the Vatican and the profit of Goldman-Sucks?

The Roman Cult destroyed the Confederate States of America from the inside-out with chivalry and civility, insisting the troops fight by the rules while the Union waged total war (think "rules of engagement"). Today she is starting to move the bullshit idea we need to be politically correct and civil as our rights are stripped away, excuses are rationalized for the elimination of self-defense, the productive are plundered and punished for the profit of the lazy and "union labor" lazy, and America is taken over by sadistic and fanatical third-world trash. A football player gets punked, does time and pays his fines for running a dog-fighting ring, and the johnny-rebs and upper-crusts are still pissing, moaning and whining about it almost a freaking year later. More recently, some diseased, dope-pushing piece of filth drops a baby (not a stupid dog, a little boy; a real live human being) into a boiling pot of water, the kid dies a slow agonizing death in the hospital and the bastard who murdered him will probably get a slap on the wrist - courtesy of some of the "enLIEtened" effeminates sniveling over "the Vik injustice" - and if I hadn't read about it over at The Gun Deck, I never would have learned about it at all.
WTF's the matter with this picture?

Blind Faith V. Genuine Believing

Believing without thinking is like shooting without aiming: it does MUCH more harm than good.
In less than a week, Galt-in-Da-Box has encountered no less than three glaring examples of the absolute stupidity of blind faith. First, genuine believing starts with a clear and worthy goal and sets about putting things in order to achieve it. In contrast, blind faith starts with one or more false assumptions, erroneous premises or other ignorance palmed off on the unsuspecting, unthinking believer who then wastes time, money and resources (most precious being his life) endeavoring to achieve a foggy collectivist vision ("the common good", "build a better world", "hope and change" &c). The latest incident was some spiritualist trying to get media share at Ayn Rand's expense by claiming she believed in UFOs. The ongoing one is a relative who will not cease to emote about the Whore of Babylon as it must be "the one true Church" because it claims to be, while living off everyone thoughtlessly via the government, and seeking to get more in bed with it daily. The primary was yet another MLM email scam.

The importance of your goal and vision being personal and individual cannot be overstated. You can number in the millions the lives lost forever and destroyed, the fortunes gone and resources wasted on collectivism. Even in it's seemingly charitable (altruistic) forms, it boils down to some guy at the top of a pyramid controlling gullible dupes for his own egomaniacal purposes. It never ends well. Your first indicator is a vague, nebulous, spurious vision. It will always involve "hope" for something that cannot be realized now. Nation building (by destroying lives and property of non-combatants), winning hearts and minds (through coercion, threats and intimidation), and "a hope of Heaven" (while putting everyone on Earth through Hell through political manipulation) would be examples.
By contrast, individuals succeed most when they set goals that involve making their own lives better, as an example to others.

Keeping yourself motivated and inspired is as important as writing down in detailed form what you plan to accomplish. The greatest computer in the world is between your ears, and it needs a program.

As Galt-in-Da-Box vacations in the great state of Intoxication a sovereign moments pause to reflect on these Holidays spent (post title courtesy of an excellent French Merlot). I'd like to take this opportunity to thank "The Wicked Witch of Huntingtucky" in advance for no longer posting her anti-choice tyrades on my FB threads, God for the superb Spring preview we've enjoyed these last couple days and "the Nesses" for an absolutely fantastic Thanksgiving and Christmas spread. I returned home from a wonderful New Years party yesternight to a neighborhood fireworks display that would have put the Battle of New Orleans to shame! As there's little left to do but stow away the ill-gotten restock from post-Christmas blowouts at the DollarTree as we finish this splendid '09 vintage, we're "gonna lay aroun' Da Shantee Momma and put a good buzz on".
